The artwork titled “Self Rescue” was published in the February 2026 issue of Lavender Rising, an international queer magazine. It appeared as a full-page spread on page 33 and was included among the publication’s top five selected artworks.
The sketch was created using graphite pencil on 200 gsm paper. Two entries were submitted, one artwork and one essay, both of which were selected for the same issue of Lavender Rising.
